Mission Statement
Our mission is to ease the way and be a single point of contact during times of transition for senior citizens who are downsizing, reorganizing, moving, finding much needed services or wanting to preserve memories. We will provide a combination of understanding, caring, and compassion with management and consulting services to facilitate an organized and efficient transition.
Guardianships/Conservatorships
We can be appointed as a Guardian/Conservator for a loved one.
When no other means is available, a guardianship/conservatorship can be a useful and necessary way to provide for substituted decision-making for an adult who needs it. A guardianship/conservatorship is someone appointed by the Court to assume legal responsibility for another person or another person’s property or both. Guardianship/Conservatorship is appropriate when a disabled person, known as the ward, is unable to make responsible decisions concerning his or her medical care or financial situation, usually because of a physical or mental disability/illness. Sometimes guardianship/conservatorship may be necessary to place the ward in a safe living environment. Guardianship/Conservatorship may also be appropriate for a minor. Kansas law recognizes the dignity of all humans by authorizing the removal of decision-making abilities only to the extent absolutely necessary. Guardians/Conservators for their part, have special duties to the person and to the court. Everyone concerned has a responsibility to ensure that the person retains as many rights as possible.
Downsizing

TLC will help you decide what to save, what to move, or what to give away to family and friends or donate to charity.
And with our experience in disposing of downsized items, TLC can help you make wise choices about what to sell, donate, recycle, or trash.
Moving
Successful moves require lots of coordination.
It’s not just a matter of packing up your household and scheduling a mover. You need to make sure your new home is ready, and your current home is set to sell or in move-in condition for the buyer.
If you first need to sell your current home TLC can work with you and your realtor to “stage” your home to make it more attractive to buyers. When you’re ready to pack and move TLC’s friendly and efficient staff can make it happen
Conflict Resolution
Conflict is inevitable among families, and the ways families choose to resolve conflict makes a huge difference. Families who peacefully resolve conflict may grow closer as they learn from one another and work hard to take one another's feelings into consideration. When conflict remains unresolved, however, it may lead to family members harboring anger, growing resentful, and trying to force other family members to take sides. Whether your family conflict remains simple, or it includes years of unresolved disputes among extended family members, TLC can help to restore peace by reaching a resolution amenable to everyone involved.
